Upcoming Larger Screen Acer Aspire One Netbooks

Acer will release the larger 10 Inch model Acer Aspire One in February or March 2009. Acer was unsatisfied with the current 8.9 inch netbooks. Antec Open Air Skeleton PC Case

Here Antec PC the latter case, which is presented as the "world premiere outdoors." Canon's 15.1 megapixel EOS 50D with DIGIC 4 processing

Not much left to tell here that you didn't already know. Still, now that the EOS 50D is official, we can list the specs with certainty: 15.1 megapixel APS-C sized CMOS sensor, DIGIC 4 image processor, up to ISO 12800 support, 3.0-inch LCD with face detection Live View, HDMI output, 6.3fps burst mode, and same AF system found in Canon's 40D with new Microadjustment feature. This DSLR targeting the "advanced amateur" will be ready for the holidays (shipping in October) for an estimated $1,599 with Canon's EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM zoom lens -- $1,399 for the body only. Toshiba Camileo H10 HD camcorder

It seems that those who want to get some HD recoding done on the cheap, but not ready to venture into some less familiar territory now have a new option for consideration by Toshiba, which is set to release its new Camileo H10 camcorder. This will give you the usual 720p recording, along with a 5x optical zoom, 10-megapixel sensor, 64MB of memory, SDHC card slot for expansion, image stabilization, motion detection and, of course, one HDMI output to let you view your low-budget masterpiece. It is not about the release of 'round these parts, unfortunately, but those in the UK can apparently get their hands on one at the end of the month for £ 180 ($ 360 or less, when VAT and whatnot were taken out of the equation)

Tri-Solar LED Flashlight

Nah, it's no Mag-Lite, but the Tri-Solar LED Flashlight should handle most minor lighting needs. The unit can operate with one LED on, three LEDs on or all three LEDs flashing (you know, in case you realize the car you just hopped in is now making a b-line for the Bates Motel). Because a single solar panel can only catch so much sunlight, this one has a trifecta of cells that fold out and generate juice for the bulbs. Not too bad for $32, particularly when you realize that it doubles as a weapon.
